Join us on a unique day trip to Point Roberts, Washington — the only U.S. town you have to cross the Canadian border twice to reach! On this beautiful late spring day, we took our Mini Cooper convertible for a scenic ride with the top down, soaking in the coastal views and quiet charm of this fascinating exclave.
We explored beautiful beaches, discovered a hidden Whatcom County campground right on the waterfront, and took in historic sights — including the Treaty of Washington monument, marking the U.S.-Canada boundary.
Our lunch stop at Salt Water Café was a treat! Gen enjoyed some hearty homemade chicken noodle soup, and we shared a warm, crispy panini. We couldn’t resist grabbing a slice of freshly baked carrot cake—moist, flavorful, and unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a peaceful Pacific Northwest adventure, Point Roberts offers history, nature, and small-town charm all in one spot.
